Dear NASRA Vendors and Sponsors,
The NASRA Board and Membership hopes this letter finds you safe and well. The NASRA Board has been monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and its potential impact on the 2020 conference. Initially, we had planned to host the September 2020 Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana. As of the end of March, we started hearing concerns about budgets and travel restrictions from state agencies and businesses. Further, some conference schedules were being postponed to dates closer to the NASRA and TEDPA conferences. Because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, hosting the 2020 conference is unrealistic. Therefore, the NASRA and TEDPA Boards are postponing the 2020 conference until 2021.
What does this mean for 2021?
We are in the process of working with the same hotel in Indianapolis to see what options including dates are available in 2021. As soon as the new dates become available, we will share them with the vendors as well as the members. If you have already booked hotel rooms or have made travel plans for the 2020 conference, please cancel them immediately. If you are working with the hotel for separate events, please contact them to discuss canceling or postponing them. The main contact person for the hotel, and perhaps the contact you have been using, has changed. If you need the contact information, please let us know. We will continue working with our core team in Indianapolis, and they will remain involved as we plan for 2021.
We are disappointed not to have an opportunity to meet and learn about your services. Please know that this was a hard decision and was not made lightly. We hope that you can join us in 2021 as we grow and work our way through the changes we will experience as a result of this pandemic.
The NASRA Board
